Letter to Our Church Family 2-28-24
Church family,
It’s hard to believe that we are already entering into March 2024. The first two months of the year have flown by, and we find ourselves just a little over four weeks from Easter Sunday. As we lead up to Easter, now is a good time to be praying about who God would have for you to invite to our Easter community breakfast, and then our Easter Celebration Service. Yes, you read that right, we will have breakfast that Sunday morning at 9:45, and we are inviting our community to join us and fellowship with us.
Then we will head to the Worship Center for our Easter Celebration service where the drama team will kick our service off with an Easter skit. Our Worship Choir will present to us the Easter Cantata they have been preparing for the past couple of months. After the Worship Choir’s Easter Cantata, I will bring a message “The Gift of Easter” from Romans 6:15-23. I am praying with an expectant heart of what the Lord has planned for us as we continue to lead up to and celebrate Easter. HE IS RISEN!!!
As we head into April, we will launch a sermon series “You Shall Be My Witnesses”. This four-week series will examine the idea of being witnesses for Christ. Through understanding the text of Acts 1, we see the call of all believers to witness and testify about the good news of Christ, the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, witness as living life every day, and the importance of the corporate witness of the church to the world.
How can you be praying for our Church?
- Spiritual unity within the body of believers.
- New families to join our Church family.
- Student Pastor opening
- New volunteers
- Spiritual growth amongst our Church family
I am thankful for a welcoming, loving, caring, & giving Church family. I am excited to see how God continues to work in and through our Church family. I am extremely thankful for all our committees, Sunday School teachers, Awana teachers, nursery workers, kitchen crew, media technicians, and many others that serve within our Church family.
Praying God’s blessings for you all.
In Christ,
Pastor Aaron
