Usage Policy and Reservation Request Form
The First Baptist Church of Rogersville is very active in the local Rogersville Missouri community. If you are interested in renting the Family Life Center for a special occasion or community event, read through the Usage Policy below and fill out the Family Life Center Reservation and Request Form and someone from FBC will get back to you shortly to let you know if we are able to accommodate your request.
Please submit the form below at least two weeks prior to the time that the space is needed. The adult "Contact Person" listed on the reservation form will be held financially accountable for any damages that may occur during the reservation time period.
FBC Family Life Center Usage Policy
Fees are payable at the date of reservation. A fifty dollar ($50.00) deposit is required to hold reservations. Checks can be made out to First Baptist Church of Rogersville.
When can reserved spaces be available?
Space can be reserved from 7 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. except Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and all day on Sundays when the Family Life Center is reserved for the use by the Church or Church members. Groups must include set-up and tear-down time within their reserved period. ALL GROUPS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SETTING UP TABLES AND CHAIRS AND REPLACEING THEM IN APPROPRIATE STORAGE RACKS.
Can food or drinks be served at meetings in the Family Life Center?
Yes, see "clean-up" deposit above. Groups are responsible for cleaning up after they are finished using the area. Trashcans are provided. Any items (food, flowers, decorations, etc.) left in the building after an activity will be discarded unless prior arrangements for removal are made in writing on the Reservation Request Form.
Church Policies Concerning the Use of the Family Life Center:
- Music that is inappropriate for church services, dancing, inappropriate language, alcohol, tobacco, non-prescription drugs and gambling are not permitted anywhere on church premises.
- Non-marking footwear is required for individuals involved in sporting activities using the gym. Appropriate attire - short/shirts - is required.
- Do not use tape, marking pens, etc., on any floors or walls.
- If a large spill occurs, please wipe up and notify the person in charge. Liquids may seep beneath the gym floor tiles and may require further attention.
- Folding tables, chairs, and/or audiovisual equipment will NOT be loaned, rented or removed from church premises.
- The church is not responsible for accidents or for items left unattended.
